Pushing The Limits ~Review

"I gazed into her beautiful
green eyes and her fear melted.
A shy smile tugged at her lips
and at my heart.
Fuck me and the rest of the world,
I was in love."

Pushing The Limits, by Katie McGarry is my #1 favorite book ever. Well, from 2013 till now at least, I have yet to find a book to pass it on my list.

The entire story line was compacted and sweet, and the typical bad boy, good girl romance story. But, at the same time it was totally different. This book had me turning the pages constantly, I simply couldn't put it down.

Since I first read it in 2013, I have reread it six times. It is one of those books that you simply crave. After a book that had my heart yearning, I found myself needing to digest this book once again.

“Some books should be tasted, some devoured, but only a few should be chewed and digested thoroughly.” ~ Sir Francis Bacon

Fun fact, the quote up above appears in one of my other favorite books, Inkheart by Cornelia Funke.

The complexity of the characters and the sparks these two have together makes me fall in love with them more, each time I read it. Although, I've read it so many times I still get surprised by some of the events that occur.

As always, here is a description of the book via the back.

So wrong for each other... AND YET SO RIGHT.
No one knows what happened the night Echo Emerson went from popular girl with jock boyfriend to gossiped-about outsider with "freaky" scars on her arms. Even Echo can't remember the whole truth.
But when Noah Hutchins, the smoking-hot, girl-using loner in the black leather jacket, explodes into her life with his surprising understanding, Echo's world shifts in ways she could never have imagines. They should have nothing in common.
Yet the crazy attraction between them refuses to go away. And Echo has to ask herself just now far they can PUSH THE LIMITS and what she'll risk for the one guy who might teach her HOW TO LOVE AGAIN.

Ah! It gives me chills just reading the back again. Between the mystery, the attracting, the thrill, and mental torment, this book has everything a teenage girl can ask for. I highly recommend this book to anyone who needs that heart racing story. For two years now, it has been my favorite book of all times! So worth the time to read.
