Twisted Palace ~Review

“She got under my skin the moment I met her, and she’s still there, in my blood, in my heart.”

These Royals will ruin you…

From mortal enemies to unexpected allies, two teenagers try to protect everything that matters most.

Ella Harper has met every challenge that life has thrown her way. She’s tough, resilient, and willing to do whatever it takes to defend the people she loves, but the challenge of a long-lost father and a boyfriend whose life is on the line might be too much for even Ella to overcome.

Reed Royal has a quick temper and even faster fists. But his tendency to meet every obstacle with violence has finally caught up with him. If he wants to save himself and the girl he loves, he’ll need to rise above his tortured past and tarnished reputation.

No one believes Ella can survive the Royals. Everyone is sure Reed will destroy them all.
They may be right.

With everything and everyone conspiring to keep them apart, Ella and Reed must find a way to beat the law, save their families, and unravel all the secrets in their Twisted Palace.

This book. This book. This one. Ugh! So many feels! I loved it. It was the perfect conclusion to an already terrific trilogy. Everything I wanted to be concluded was concluded and wrapped up with a nice bow. The series as a whole has already reached my all time favorites list. I adored it. Everything about it made me smile (unless the situation called for a frown).

In Twisted Palace, there was a lot going on. I couldn't figure out how everything would be resolved in only a couple hundred chapters. But, everything ended how I wanted it to. I loved it! This one was more of a mystery than the previous two. I was trying to play detective between the heart fluttering romance and heart pounding direness of the situation.

A LOT happened in Twisted Palace, but it was a rollercoaster I was more than willing to jump on. Not only was the story gorgeously written, but the covers are pretty spectacular if I do say so myself. I think the subtleness of the cover art was a perfect contrast to the story inside. 5 out of 5 stars for this story.

Elle Kennedy and Jen Frederick (the collaborative author Erin Watt) were a power duo. There is no way you'd think this trilogy was written by two different people. They seamlessly molded their writing together to create a cohesive story that, if I haven't mentioned yet, I love.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TRILOGY. If you love, romance, edge of your seat, page turning books, I think you'll love this series as much as I did! Caution: there are some rather steamy moment throughout all three books that may not be suited for younger readers.
